Conklin 10 String Sidewinder Bass

    Thanks, Dave! The truth is that I went to a 5 string as soon as they started making them (and I could afford one). One of my teachers convinced me I should try a 6 and sold me his. That was the toughest transition I had to make. Going from 6 to 8 took about a day before I was semi-comfortable. The 10 is an awesome beast and I doubt I'll ever really get used to it, but it sure is fun!

    Awesome! How long did it take to get used to that many strings? Did you work your way up gradually from 5 6 8 string basses?
