I like dark, dry tones for cymbals, and deep thuddy toms

DW Collectors Series - Custom Satin Amber Finish

Posted on December 18, 2013

This kit has seen an interesting 10 years. When it was purchased, it was a finish ply kit, with an 18" deep kick drum. The previous owner had the finish ply stripped off and the kick drum cut down to 14" deep. I was skeptical when I went to buy it but after I heard it, it was a no brainer. The shells resonate better than any other kit I had heard.
